Why invest in solar?

Solar panels can reduce your household’s carbon footprint by tonnes of greenhouse gas emissions a year, while drastically reducing your electricity bill in two ways.

First, by generating your own electricity from solar panels, you reduce the electricity you need to buy from your power provider. Secondly, any excess “Green” electricity your system produces is sold back to the power provider. This allows households to reduce their electricity bills significantly.

In addition, solar units can increase the energy rating and value of your property.

03

Does solar save you money?

Sunlight is a natural clean energy resource and once you pay the initial outlay for the solar system to be installed, all the electricity generated by your solar system is absolutely free. Your solar system's lifespan is more than 25 -30 years so imagine how much it could reduce your household costs over this time!

05

How many kWh will my system generate?

Your solar specialist will advise you of the expected amount of power your system will generate. This can vary depending on your location, trees and other obstructions surrounding your property and the orientation and size of your system.

07

What is a grid-connected solar system?

Grid-connected solar panel systems are connected to the electricity supply grid. An inverter converts DC low voltage power generated by the solar panels to 240V AC power for household use.

The smart meter manages how much electricity is drawn from or fed back into the grid.

When excess electricity is fed back into the grid it will generate revenue for you to offset the credits attained against the energy you utilise on a night.

09

Does my solar come with a warranty?

Yes, the brands we supply are backed with a manufactures warranty.

The Panels come with a:

Product & Linear Performance Warranty
The Inverter comes with a: Manufactures Warranty

02

What are the environmental benefits of having solar?

By reducing Australia’s dependence on electricity generated from coal, we not only reduce CO² emissions but also reduce the demand for the water that power companies require to generate this electricity. Currently, 130 billion litres of drinking water is used just to generate coal-based electricity.

Furthermore, if more Australians install solar panel systems it will reduce the stress on our electricity grid. This, in turn, will minimize the number of blackouts occurring during times of peak electricity use.

04

How much money will I save?

Your electricity bill can be significantly reduced by solar. The amount depends on the size of your system, where it is installed, any shade issues, how you use your electricity and your electricity plan.

It is important to consume more of your electricity needs during the solar day and minimize it at night. Use your solar, not the grid!

Make sure you are on the best electricity deal with a high feed-in tariff to benefit from excess solar you send to the grid

06

What if I have a flat roof?

Although not always necessary, roof mounting systems can be installed to angle your solar panels at an adequately slanted position so that they can still collect maximum sunlight.

08

Have the panels been tested?

Yes, all panel brands we supply are tested to and meet the standards IEC61215 and IEC61730. The inverter complies with standard AS/NZ4777.

Our suppliers pride ourselves on the

e quality and ensure they always meet the highest industry standards.
